Hi, I’m Valerie!

I’m all about creating experiences + moments that will keep your guests talking long after the last bottle of champagne has popped and the DJ plays the last song of the night. My events have been described as modern, thoughtful, unique, and always innovative. Think wow moments, picture-perfect styling, and even a little surprise razzle dazzle!

I am an attorney but I've always had a passion for event design! After designing and planning my own wedding, I was heavily encouraged by my husband and friends to consider starting my own event design business. It wasn't until I became a mother, that I gained the confidence to launch my event design business, formerly Oui Like to Party HTX, and share my creative energy and passion with the world. I unlocked my talent for floristry, fabrication, and design and coupled my artistry with my inherent nature to help people define their own happiness. I think most mothers agree there's something transformative and inspiring about motherhood that gives you the boost to do all those things you've always wanted to do. So, I did and here I am! Welcome to my party! 

What I love most about event design is the initial moments when my clients see and experience the event I have specially curated for them; that is the moment I live for. To see their excitement will always be my favorite part of what I do, and I'm so honored to create that excitement for you!

Fun facts, I love live music festivals but also love rainy days to binge-watch episodes of Law & Order, Martin, or Game of Thrones (except that last season...how dreadful!) I'm married to the man who was made just for me and together we created two amazing tiny humans that keep us laughing + crying at the same time. My dream vacation is Croatia and my favorite cocktail is a French 95. I would describe my personal style as fresh, versatile, sometimes glamorous, always chic, and classic.
